Four years ago a friend told me about a GSD that had been hit by a car and was in a shelter at risk of being put down. I posted the info and New Beginnings agreed to pull this dog and have it evaluated. Thousands of dollars later, a dog that most people would have put down instead was able to walk again and was eventually adopted into a wonderful home. I would trust these people to the ends of the earth to make sure every dog that they come in contact with gets the best possible care and the best home possible. Anyone who says otherwise hasn't ever dealt with them and doesn't know them.

The fine people at New Beginnings Shepherd Rescue hooked us up with a wonderful young male. Joey is everything they said he is and more. They are dedicated, professional and organized. They provide a great service in helping shepherds regain health and get rehomed.

Great rescue who puts the dogs first. Bad breeders who are only in it for the money need to stop leaving bad reviews when this rescue saves on of their mistakes from death in a shelter. This rescue stepped up, even though the cost was high, and saved an animal who had been sold to convicted abusers by an irresponsible breeder. This breeder has asked friends and family to destroy the name of a 13 year old organization with an impeccable history. Kudos to this rescue for taking the hard road and doing what is right for the dog instead of caving into their bullying.

This rescue enjoys an excellent reputation in the rescue world. They will go the extra mile to provide whatever help one of their dogs needs, and are known as a "good" rescue, honest and dependable. Very grateful for their representation on behalf of so many dogs who had been left voiceless.

They rescued a badly abused German Shepherd last week and now her former owner who sold her to her abusers wants her back. She has rallied friends to bombard the rescue's page with negative reviews that have no basis in fact, because she is angry that this dog she never had microchipped to her, who was dumped at the shelter with an embedded prong collar, will not be going back to her. NBSR just celebrated their 13th anniversary; during those years they have successfully rescued and rehabilitated over 3000 German Shepherds and placed them in wonderful homes.
