Hey!
I wanted to let you know that Snowy has adapted beautifully to her home with us
and is perfectly happy to let Simba, the cat, be leader of the pack! They are both
quite content to be together on the living room rug, enjoying a morning sun bath.
She loves our routine of a long walk in the morning and shorter walks in the afternoon and evening, weather permitting! Snowy likes to watch the birds, squirrels and chipmunks in the yard from the second level deck and she really likes being able to run freely in the new partially fenced backyard! And the snow! She is very well named because she has absolutely adored being out in the 6 inches of snow from this January 2010 storm.
We are so happy to have Snowy as a part of our family. For the first month she was with us, our college age son was home for winter break. When he stopped in to say hi one evening after he'd moved back to campus, Snowy's tail was going in circles to greet him! She is a really sweet, good-natured dog and a marvelous companion as she follows me from room to room in the house.
